This is a long overdue post. I’ve been meaning to share few photos from that trip but time and work stuffs are in the way and honestly, been playing video games every single day! But here I am trying to work on this post again – for the nth time!
Labor Day this year — 2018, my family and I visited Washington D.C and explore a few place for a day.
We were all ready around 4 in the morning and headed out to barge in the road for good ol 3-hours. Surprisingly I didn’t sleep while on the road knowing that I only got like 2 hours sleep, maybe it was because of the coffee.

This will be the last part of my New York post ~
There are a lot of things to do in Central Park, to be honest. You can either rent a bike and just stroll the park itself, rent a roller skates I think, tour the park in a horse ride and pedicabs. There are literally a lot, but we didn’t do any of it, because we didn’t know there are things like that. But we sure enjoyed the park though.

This is a part two of my New York post, hopefully won’t be the last ~
From the Flatiron District, we just walked our way to the Central Park. That’s from 23rd street of fifth avenue TO 59th street of fifth avenue (which ranges to the 100th street). It’s a good thing because we got to exercise and see more things and take bunch of photos. But before we head to Central Park, we went to St. Patrick’s Cathedral to pay it a visit. We also got to see the New York Public Library, which of course I took a photo of it.

I’ve been following a couple photographers on Instagram and most of them are New York based photographer. Like I mean, who wouldn’t love to see New York skyscraper and every thing about New York, right?
To be honest, my family and I have been going to New York pretty much every year. And every time we visit New York we are only be at the same locations: Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The itinerary will change if we really plan something ahead of time, on where to go and what to do. And as a young adult, I crave for long walks and slight traveling. And it took us literally couple years to finally go to New York by ourselves. As per usual, a Filipina who is afraid to get lost in a big city, I always use my GPS to travel here and there.

It’s one of those days when you and your friends planned something for quite a long time. We’ve talked about seeing each other sometime in July but things happen and we moved it a month after. The last time I saw them was back in 2011, right after our graduation. So it took me like almost five years to go out and see some friends. Definitely the best one I had in year 2016 and hopefully not the last.

I have been meaning to a “What’s In My Bag” tag, but I do not really carry a bag that has full of something in it, really! Well I do have a work bag and a church bag, and the only thing that’s in it are: my wallet and my medicine bag! So, why not do a What’s In My Camera Bag tag! Yay!
And you know what, I fancy watching YouTube videos about, “What’s In My Bag tag”. And probably if I made up a post about what’s inside my bag, it will all be papers and trash! LOL. And since it is new year, I am changing up a bit on the blog posts that I am meaning to post here for this year. Starting off with this one.
