Jumpyard | Philippines

I saw posts about an indoor trampoline park before we actually flew for our vacation and was curious about it and I told my sisters about it and they were so game about it. So then when we had our vacation in the Philippines, we got the time and privilege to go to one of their branches.

It was the 19th of December when we decided to visit San Fernando branch of Jump Yard. Located at Paseo Las Palmas, Jose Abad Santos Ave., San Fernando, Pampanga.

The place has three like activity center for any ages. But we decided to go with the Indoor Trampoline Park. To check out the other activities here are some of their links: Lazer Maxx and Fun Ranch.

National Shrine of the Divine Mercy | Philippines

On December 30th, my family and I drove an hour or two to Marilao, Bulacan to hear a mass. We got ready around 4 AM and was ready for the road after an hour, we then arrived the place at around 7 AM or so. And far as I could remember, it was my first time in the church. But then, my parents told us that we’ve already visited the church once, when we were young and when half of the church was still under construction, I think.

We came in early for the next mass, so we waited and walked around the place and was really fascinated by the place.

Monasterio De Tarlac | Philippines

Have you heard of the famous Cristo Redentor or Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil? If yes, isn’t one of the greatest statue ever? I wanted to see that with my own eyes, but having to travel to Brazil will sure cost me a lot. So luckily when we had our vacation in the Philippines, we got to see the Statue of the Risen Christ. A thirty-foot statue that resembles the one in Brazil, read rest of the Monasterio de Tarlac in Wiki [here].

I didn’t have to book a flight to Brazil to see the statue and I know it’s not the replica of it, but hey it’s similar to the one they have in Brazil. Right? The municipality of Tarlac City has its own rendition of the said statue.

Holidays in the Philippines

It’s no surprise that I miss the place where I grew up – The Philippines.

And I feel so lucky and grateful that after five long years of living in the United States, I can say that Yup, it’s nice to go back home~

It was almost an 18-hour flight from New York to Manila. We rented a cab that drove us from New Jersey to New York, which surprisingly took us few hours only. Heh. And yup, I didn’t sleep on the trip and took the entire road trip to see New York in dawn.. We came in early, checked in our bags and waited for our departure time. It was then, the 6th of December and to be honest, I am pretty much excited that we are all going back home. As usual, there is nothing much excited about a long haul flight, well good thing there is an in-flight games and tons of movies to keep us awake and entertained.
